Privacy is pillar of the Chateau de la Beauté experience. As such, we ask that no photos or videos with or without audio are taken of the spa, our employees, and guests within our space, photography and videography are not allowed. Additionally, we ask that phones are put on silent and abstain from answering any calls while in the spa.

When scheduling services, a debit or credit card is required to hold the reservation.
In order to respect your fellow guests' time as well as your esthetician or nail technician's time, we ask for 24 hours advanced notice for any rescheduling or cancellation needs. For any changes made within 24 hours of the appointment time, there is a cancellation fee in the full value of the services scheduled charged to the reserving credit card.
For parties over 4 guests, we ask for 48 hours notice of cancellation or rescheduling. For any changes made within 48 hours of the appointment time, there is a cancellation fee in the full value of the services charged to the reserving credit card.
For appointments charged to an open Fairmont San Francisco reservation or Fairmont Gift Certificate, we ask for a 72 hour notice of cancellation or rescheduling.
For guests of the Fairmont San Francisco, should there be any issue with the reserving credit card, a cancellation within 24 hours of the service will result in a room charge in the full value of the services cancelled. -
Due to the exceptionally high demand surrounding Super Bowl weekend, Chateau de la Beauté Spa maintains the following special cancellation policy for all reservations scheduled February 5th through February 10th:
• A minimum of seven (7) days’ notice is required for any cancellation or rescheduling of individual spa services.
• Cancellations made within seven days of the scheduled appointment will incur a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the total value of the services reserved, charged to the card on file.
Super Bowl Private Spa Rentals
All Super Bowl weekend private spa rental reservations, including deposits and scheduled appointments, are strictly non-refundable. These reservations require advance staffing, operational planning, and the exclusive hold of the spa and therefore cannot be modified, canceled, or refunded once confirmed.
These policies are applied consistently to all Super Bowl weekend reservations and are agreed to at the time of booking.

Our consent forms are sent digitally to the email provided. If this is your first time receiving this service, you will be sent a link to fill out. Additionally, you may be asked to resubmit a new form every 12 months after your first submission in order to provide us the most updated information. If you are expecting a form and do not receive any, please contact the spa immediately via email or phone number. Consent forms must be filled out prior to the service time; in the event that they are not filled out prior to the scheduled service time, your service may be adjusted or shortened accordingly.

Please plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled service time. Arriving up to 10 minutes after the scheduled start time may result in an adjusted or shortened service. Arriving 10 or more minutes after the start time, as well as no shows, will be charged 100% of the value of the services scheduled charged to the reserving credit card.

We hope you love your esthetician or nail technician just as much as we do! We recommend a 20% gratuity based on the value of the service. This is optional however, the final gratuity is left to your discretion.

We are excited to share our skincare products with you! If you need to return an item, please do so unopened within 48 hours of purchase for spa credit. Gift Cards, pre-purchased services, and account balances are not subject to returns. We offer no refunds; any return that is accepted will be in exchange for spa credit.

Chateau de la Beauté does not offer parking complimentary or vouchers at this time. The Fairmont valet does offer parking for $24 for the first hour, $40 for 2 hours, $60 for 3 hours, and $78 + tax for 3+ hours. All hourly rates for oversized vehicles are an additional $10 per hour. Motorcycle parking is 50% off rate on overnight or daily parking. All parking fees are subject to a 14% city tax. Additionally, there are parking garages nearby named Crocker Parking Garage and Grace Cathedral Garage. Street parking is available as well complimentary unless otherwise posted.

For all bookings charged to an open Fairmont San Francisco reservation or Fairmont Gift Certificate, we ask for a 72 hour notice of cancellation or rescheduling. We also require a 5% Fairmont Room Charge fee for all room charges and Fairmont gift certificate redemptions. Additionally, when using a Fairmont gift certificate, the certificate will be redeemed at the time of booking. Any cancellation or rescheduling with more than 72 hours notice will result in the service being added to your account to use at a later date.

All minors (guests under the age of 18) must be accompanied by a legal guardian for the duration of their scheduled service. The legal guardian is required to remain on-site within the spa at all times.
If a legal guardian is receiving a service simultaneously with a minor, the guardian acknowledges that, in the event of an emergency involving the minor, the guardian’s service will be immediately stopped and canceled in order to attend to the minor.
All services for minors require that completed consent and release forms be signed by a legal guardian no later than 24 hours prior to the scheduled service time.
Failure to comply with this policy may result in service cancellation without refund. -
Outside Food and Drink is no longer allowed inside the spa.
